At Alliance Spine and Pain Centers, we provide life-changing pain relief for chronic pain patients through innovative, individualized treatments. We are proud to share that both Dr. “Nok” Keomahathai and Dr. David J. Rosenfeld recently performed new procedures with advanced technology to help relieve their patients’ pain.
Dr. “Nok” was the first physician in Georgia to implant the Boston Scientific Wavewriter Alpha Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS). The Alpha IPG battery offers a unified portfolio delivering new personalized and unique therapy options on the most expansive rechargeable and non-rechargeable full-body MRI system with Bluetooth connectivity supporting up to 32 contacts. It also has FAST™ programming technology, which is Boston Scientific’s new and proprietary therapy providing profound paresthesia-free pain relief in minutes. Since this first procedure, Dr. Nok has implanted 4 other systems in the hope of relieving pain to these patients and is optimistic it will help many more.
Dr. Rosenfeld performed the first Sacrix SI Fusion in the state of Georgia. Sacrix is a revolutionary percutaneous posterior sacroiliac fixation technology for the treatment of sacroiliac dysfunction and sacroiliitis. This procedure allows for faster recovery and same-day treatment. Learn more about the Sacrix treatment here.
Also, Dr. Nok and Dr. Rosenfeld are a few selected pain physicians across the United States trained in The Minuteman® fusion surgery. It is a minimally invasive, interspinous-interlaminar fusion device intended for the fixation and stabilization of the spine for patients with mild spondylolisthesis (“slippage”) and degenerative disc disease. This procedure is an outpatient surgery to help reduce pain from these conditions. Both physicians are excited to offer this option to their patients.
