WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING AT ALLIANCE?

I’m a people person so I enjoy interacting with people. As a surgery scheduler, my job requires a lot of multi-tasking so it never gets boring.

WHAT IS THE BEST COMPLIMENT YOU HAVE RECEIVED FROM AN ALLIANCE COLLEAGUE?

I’ve been told I have a great personality, and I’m dependable and reliable. When I’m out on PTO my presence is missed because people ask “Where’s Adrienne?”

I’ve also been told that I have a good rapport with the patients. During the check-in & checkout process, I take the time to get to know them and their situations.

WHICH ALLIANCE VALUE (COMPASSION, RESPECT, INTEGRITY, EXCELLENCE, & SERVICE) BEST REFLECTS YOUR QUALITY OF WORK AND WHY?

After 9 years with Alliance, I would like to think that I encompass all of the core values but compassion stands out the most to me, particularly in our field.

To have compassion is to empathize with someone who is suffering and to feel compelled to reduce the suffering. I try to do that with our patients whether it’s a smile, laugh, or joke. I try to make them feel warm and welcome.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB?

My first job was at 15 years old at Dunkin Donuts in my hometown, Irvington, New Jersey. I was a cashier and I loved it.

I learned at a young age how to make the best coffee and just like here at Alliance, I enjoyed interacting with people.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS TO DO OUTSIDE THE OFFICE?

I love taking family trips to the beach in the spring and summer. My husband and I love long weekend trips to Harrah’s Cherokee or Windcreek Casinos.

WHAT’S A FUN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF THAT MOST OF YOUR CO-WORKERS PROBABLY DON’T KNOW?

I wanted to be an actress. If you have had any interaction with me on the phone or in person, it wouldn’t be hard to guess! I like to be a little dramatic (in a good way).
