WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO ALLIANCE SPINE AND PAIN CENTERS?

I have been suffering from severe neuromuscular pain syndrome with spasms since the age of 17. Unfortunately, the pain only became more intense as I got older. 

WHAT ISSUES DID YOU NEED TO BE RESOLVED? HOW WERE THEY ADDRESSED?

For over a year and a half, I was in and out of the hospital seeking relief for my pain. Then, I was referred to Dr. Omar Hajmurad at Alliance Spine and Pain Centers. He sat down with me and discussed different treatment options. After having limited success with medication and procedure management, Dr. Hajmurad suggested a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) trial to help with my bilateral low back and leg pain, which was averaging 8.5-9/10 on the pain scale.

This trial helped relieve my pain and improve my quality of life so much that I elected to move forward with the SCS implant. My pain is currently a 4/10 on the pain scale and has not been this low in years.

At first, I was really nervous about the SCS trial. However, I am so grateful that I decided to move forward with it. It significantly reduced the amount of pain I felt and improved my quality of life.

HOW ARE YOU DOING NOW?

Not only has the spinal cord stimulator helped relieve my pain by 50%, it has also allowed me to sleep better too, which gives me more energy when I wake up and puts me in a better mood. Overall, l just feel happier!
