Pre and Post Instructions for Stem Cell Therapy Treatment

Welcome to your journey with stem cell therapy, an innovative approach to healing and wellness. To ensure the best possible outcomes from your treatment, it is crucial to follow these pre and post-treatment instructions carefully.

Pre-Treatment Instructions

  1. Medical Review and Patient Portal:

    • Ensure all your medical history have been uploaded into your portal and current medications.

    • Discuss any allergies, past surgeries, and your overall health condition with Dr. Gayles.

    • No recent smoking history within 30 days of procedure.

  2. Medication Adjustments:

    • Some medications, especially anti-inflammatory drugs or vitamins, may need to be stopped a few 7 days before the treatment. Please consult with Dr. Gayles for specific instructions.

    • Avoid NSAIDS for 6-8 weeks post procedure

    • Avoid Steroid use 8 weeks post procedure

  3. Diet and Hydration:

    • Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet leading up to your treatment.

    • Avoid alcohol and reduce caffeine intake 24 hours before the procedure.

  4. Physical Preparation:

    • Get plenty of rest the night before.

    • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing on the day of your treatment.

  5. Arrange Transportation if needed:

    • Plan for someone to drive you home after the procedure, as you may experience temporary discomfort or drowsiness. This only applies to BMAC and Adipose Derived Extractions.

    • PT will begin two weeks post procedure

    • Continue to drink plenty of water.
