In this “Employee Spotlight,” get to know Leslie Young, a Clinic Lead for our Covington location. Learn more about Leslie below!
My favorite part of working at Alliance is the new relationships I’ve formed with patients and coworkers. It’s rewarding to see the relief we are able to give patients, especially those who have lost hope for living a normal life with reduced pain.
The best compliment I’ve ever received from an Alliance Colleague is that I’m dedicated, loyal, and always willing to help and train others. I started when the company was new, and I worked in the call center, but back then we only had our Conyers, Covington and West Paces locations. I worked my way to the front office, got my MA certification about six years ago, and then worked in the back office. I was recently given the opportunity to contribute to the Clinic Best Practices team and have greatly enjoyed getting to know the other leads and form relationships with employees I’ve never met. When I was given the compliment about my willingness to train others, it meant a lot to me because it is a passion of mine. I enjoy helping other centers become their very best.
The Alliance value I feel best reflects my quality of work is “service,” because over the years, I’ve developed very strong relationships with the mid-level employees and doctors I’ve worked with. I give my all every day to support them and Alliance as a whole.
My first job was at Chick-Fil-A when I was 14 years old.
My favorite thing to do outside of the office is to go shopping, try new foods, and enjoy a jalapeno margarita.
Most of my coworkers don’t know that I’ve recently taken up the hobby of sublimation t-shirts! It’s a fun way to decompress after a busy day at work.
