My job makes a genuine difference in the quality of life for those suffering in our community. It is so humbling and inspiring seeing patients come in with walkers and wheelchairs, only to see them walk out without assistance and a smile on their face. We change lives for the better, which means the world to me.
Compliments do not always have to come in the form of words. They are in laughter and smiles too! Seeing someone beam with joy or laugh with me at a silly moment is something I truly cherish.
All of the Alliance Values have huge importance in providing quality care for our patients and making for an enjoyable work experience for everyone. However, integrity best reflects me. At a very young age, my grandfather taught me that work ethic and integrity are what truly defines your character. He emphasized that these characteristics are what people will remember of you, and I’m so thankful my grandfather shared these lessons with me. Being honest and having strong moral principles are guiding beacons in my life.
Around 13 years old, I had my first two jobs: a goat farmer and industry machine shop worker. What a combo! I would work the farm early in the mornings and at my Grandpa’s machine shop in the afternoons, along with on weekends and school holidays. I also volunteered at the local special needs school during the week.
I enjoy swimming, especially in deep ocean waters! I also love football, horror movies, and old school rock/metal music concerts. I am also an avid reader of many genres and a huge nerd that frequents local sci-fi conventions!
I was born in Texas and grew up in California where I worked with special needs kids for years. Now living in Georgia, I am a proud mom to a special needs kid and active in the #AutismAwareness cause.
