I’ve had lower back problems for a few years now. All the pain I experienced happened when I was standing or walking. However, when I sat down, it all stopped. I always thought it would go away, but it just kept getting worse and worse.
Because I had never been to a pain doctor before, I didn’t know where to get started to find help. A friend at church had successful procedures at Alliance and recommended the practice to me. Luckily, that’s where I went first!
I first visited Dr. David Rosenfeld in 2015. We tried an epidural injection, and I had relief for a short time. After a month or so, I went back for a 2nd and 3rd injection. I did this series of shots three times during 2015-2019, and my relief was always temporary. Though it made my pain more bearable, I was sitting a lot to find relief.
Then, I went back to see Dr. Rosenfeld in 2019 to see what else he could do. He recommended and performed an indirect spinal decompression (a Vertiflex Superion procedure). It worked well, and it pretty much took care of my back problem. I very seldom had any pain after that!
Currently, I am running into a new issue with pain and sensation all down the back of my legs. I am visiting with Dr. Rosenfeld again to help fix this pain, and I am confident he and Alliance will help me get back to normal.
Dr. Rosenfeld is super! I don’t know how Alliance managed to find all of these staff members and physicians who are so nice and so understanding. I know they have suggested and done absolutely everything possible. Throughout the whole process, they have been so positive. I couldn’t ask for a team to be any better. We’re all on a first-name basis.
I am retired and married to my very supportive wife, Flora. For most of my life, I have been an active person. I played football and baseball in school. Also, I enjoyed playing tennis. Until the last few years, I bowled in a league, hunted, and fished.
Though a lot of my activities have slowed down the past few years, I still get on my tractor and tend to my cows.
