WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO ALLIANCE SPINE AND PAIN CENTERS?

My journey with Dr. Gayles began over ten years ago when I became his patient. I have experienced significant improvement from debilitating headaches and facial pain under his care, so I followed him to Alliance for treatment when he relocated to the Atlanta area.

WHAT ISSUES DID YOU NEED TO RESOLVE? HOW WERE THEY ADDRESSED?

My treatments are to address Trigeminal Neuralgia, a condition that causes intense pain similar to an electric shock on one side of the face. Despite being young to have this condition, I had already undergone a couple of surgeries to improve my quality of life with a neurosurgeon in New York. The first surgery was on my trigeminal nerves and the second surgery was brain surgery on nuclear and orbital nerves.

However, I continued to experience debilitating pain after these surgeries, especially at the top of my head. This pain severely impacted my daily life. I could barely get out of bed or function. After trying therapies that did not have a lasting effect, my physical therapist recommended seeking treatment from Dr. Gayles in Georgia. His expertise in relieving my migraines and providing pain relief care has been invaluable.

Most recently, I received Exosome Therapy from Dr. Gayles, which was my first true regenerative medicine treatment. Due to the location of my pain, surgery wasn’t an option, so I went through all the approvals and classifications to follow Dr. Gayles to Georgia and see him at Alliance’s Piedmont/ Atlanta location.

WHAT ARE YOUR UPCOMING TREATMENT PLANS WITH DR. GAYLES?

I currently reside in Merritt Island, FL with my parents and have ongoing treatment plans with Dr. Gayles at Alliance. Following his evaluation of my back, we've discussed the possibility of additional exosome therapy to address my specific needs. Also, Dr. Gayles intends to utilize regenerative medicine options to alleviate the stomach issues I've been experiencing due to gastric stimulators and their associated side effects.
