Meet Shalin Shah, D.O.


Board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist Shalin Shah, DO, advocates for holistic and preventive care while offering exceptional care for patients’ comfort at Alliance Spine & Pain in Augusta, Georgia. He carefully assesses every patient to determine their best-matched course of treatment and supports them with a personalized care plan. 

Dr. Shah earned his medical degree at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He continued training with a residency at Medical College of Georgia Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, before becoming chief pain fellow during his fellowship. He was also awarded a research and scholarly advancement fellowship. 

Since completing his formal education and training, Dr. Shah has gathered significant experience in his field and continues to stay abreast of the latest advancements in pain medicine. He holds leading positions in many professional associations and societies, including the American Society of Anesthesiology, the Georgia Society of Anesthesiology, the American Physicians of Indian Origin, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists, and the American Medical Association. 

Today, Dr. Shah strives to give his patients unparalleled care at Alliance Spine & Pain’s Augusta clinic and satellite office. He specializes in managing spine pain, trigger points, radiculopathy, and joint pain using individualized care plans to give patients a better quality of life.
